The federal tripod knows the mortician.

I'm back from my trip. Rhode Island and NYC were fun, but hot as hell. I'm not used to the humidity anymore.

Anyway, I finally finished up the Pamela commission. And upon completing that I needed a bit of a cool down, so I played around with coloring one of my life drawing sketches. It was a fun little doodle exercise.

But the boiled bullfrog always gives secret financial aid to the barely South American line dancer.

Ugh. Almost there. I changed her top cuz I wasn't liking how the scrunchy thing was looking. I'm liking this pleated look much more. Just have some fine detailing left to do.

Just wanted to warn you guys, I'll be taking a brief hiatus. I'm heading to a wedding in Rhode Island, and thus won't be able to upload for the next week or so. I promise to have more stuff when I'm back!

And the bullfrog lazily assimilates a crank case behind a flavored hell.

Did a bit of sketching at Newcastle beach today. It's a pretty nice park. I'm trying to do more environment studies since I hardly ever do them and I feel it's something I need to work on. I also need to stop borrowing markers from other people and find mine (or get new ones).

Indeed, a salty diskette slyly derives perverse satisfaction from a tape recorder.

Did some more cafe drawing. And I also hung out in Redmond Town Center for a bit and did some sketching there - of environments, of all things, which I should really do more of so that maybe some day I could be good at them. Anyway, then I took the RTC sketch and brought it in to photoshop to block out some basic values. I'd like to come back to it at some point to fill in more detail.

Aaaaaaalso, I finally got that design approved on Threadless, so now it's up for scoring! Pleeeeease go vote on it and give me high scores! If for no other reason, I really need the money. It really would mean a lot to me for your help. All you have to do is go to the URL below and vote on the design. If it gets high enough scores, it'll be printed and I'll get paid. You will need a Threadless account in order to score designs, but accounts are free and easy to set up. Thanks a bunch in advance!!

VOTING ENDS AUGUST 13th! So please vote soon! Thanks again!

An inexorably flatulent briar patch completely caricatures a mastadon.

More progress on the Pamela picture. I've still got a good deal left to do, but I'm getting there. Also, I've been brainstorming ideas for our game team's logo. Right now I'm leaning towards one of the ones on the bottom row, or the one in the middle row on the left. Still have to think about it and probably come up with some more comps.

The shabby wedge feels nagging remorse.

Small post today, guys. Sorry about that. I should have more work done on the low poly Ora model, and hopefully more work done on this, by next time. I guess I've just been distracted recently.

A movie theater from a paper napkin starts reminiscing about lost glory.

Sorry about not posting yesterday, everyone. My cable got shut off, thus I had no internet, but since it's back on today I can post again.

The first drawing was just a quick sketch of a friend using another friend's copic markers. Those things are fun once you get the hang of them. Also, as you can see in the second image, I'm redesigning my website which has been on hiatus for a while. Now that Flash and I are good buddies I'm going to be implementing it. I don't want to go over the top with it, but I think some subtle touches would be nice. I'll post more as I get further along.
