Some more process work on my junior project. Another preliminary AO render of my scene (now with more stuff!), still in low-poly. Also had to redo my boards after getting crits.

A cheese wheel beyond some formless void requires assistance from a parking lot.
A preliminary ambient occlusion render for my junior project scene. I still have a lot of work to do. I need to add a lot more stuff to the scene, insert a window into the wall on the left, and make everything high poly.
Woohoo!

Sometimes a class action suit beams with joy.
A couple friends and I snuck into the back of a freshman class today to do some guerilla life drawing. Fun stuff.

A dolphin makes love to a traffic light.
More work from school! The first is the finished model sheet of my character from my junior project. The second is the "look and feel" painting from that same project. It is by no means a finished rendering of the environment, but simply intended to give you an idea of the color palette and the "feel" of the setting. The last is another tree drawing from the assignment I posted last time.

Some non-chalantly radioactive apartment building takes a coffee break.
Some tree drawings for class. I still have one more to do, but I figured I'd upload these while I have the time.

Some tattered satellite borrows money from the nearest graduated cylinder.
Some work on the environment for my junior project. I suck at layouts, so bear with me here. I should have some color and value comps up soon.

A self-actualized buzzard recognizes the avocado pit.
Rough sketch of my character turnaround. It should be done by next Wednesday at the latest. And, of course, a couple of quickie cafe sketches.

The treacherous sheriff accurately reaches an understanding with the ski lodge.
Final (I think) storyboards for my first semester junior project. This used to be longer and had more shots, but Jimbo had other thoughts in mind, and it was not to be. The character trait I was given was "fearful/frightened", and the overall mood of the piece and setting is "happy/fun".
More to come.

The fruit cake thoroughly trades baseball cards with an oil filter.
Some more development work for my first semester junior project. Storyboards and (hopefully) color comps will come soon too.

The federal hole puncher feels nagging remorse.
And school has started up again. This is just some development work for my junior projects class. Still really, really rough. I already have new ideas for the storyboards.
